CQ CQ CQ! This is South Cars, the South Coast Amateur Radio Service.

South Cars is a directed service net whose purpose is to assist those seeking to contact other stations, or areas, to provide weather and travel information, when available, and to assist in emergencies. We do not handle formal traffic, but can and will, in the event of an emergency. All licensed amateurs are welcome.

Your VOip control server for this net has been made available by the "West Michigan Privately Owned Repeater Network" and for that we graciously say thank you.

All contacts, and request for information will be handled through the Net Control. When contact with another station is made, please move off this system and establish your contact direct so the net may continue. In fairness to all, "Short Time" stations will not be recognized, as such. All stations will be listed in the order in which they enter the system. If you are a general class licensed ham or above we invite you to check in and participate with our parent net on 7.251 MHz.
